Scalloped Shell Dish

These dishes begin with a slab of clay draped over real scallop shells to take on their impression. They are then hand-shaped over plaster molds, given a tiny foot ring, and dried then fired and finished with food-safe satin glaze. Each piece is completely unique, just like the shells they are cast from. Approximately 4".
